MAC Prep and Prime Fix+

I ordered this off MAC ages ago as there's no MAC where I live. I had heard a lot of good thinks about it but I had never tried it so I brought it.

It cost me £17.50 plus packaging and delivery which I thought was quite good and it came with a mini primer sample which was really cute.

I like this spray, I spray some before I do my makeup and I find that it makes it easier to blend my concealer and foundation and then I spray it after I finish my makeup. It gives my make up a really nice natural and dewy look and I personally love this finish.

It also makes my makeup last longer, I wouldn't say it's amazing but I can notice a bit of a difference when I wear it.

The bottle has also lasted a while, I wear it nearly every day and I have done for a few months now at least and I'm not even half way through so it does last.
I still use a primer with this as I don't think you could just use this as a base but if you don't wear that much makeup or you are going for a more natural look this would definitely work.

It also gets rid of that chalky cakey look that you sometimes get after you've done your makeup and I find this really helpful because I can't stand days where my makeup looks like that.

I would also like to mention that have quite dry skin and I wouldn't recommend you spray this after your makeup if your skins quite oily as it does leave me with quite a dewy finish.

Overall I would give this an 8/10

Two Faced Better Than Sex Mascara

I brought this a while ago when I was on holiday in Sephora, the Sephora we went to wasn’t the best one it basically just had brands that were available in the UK and their own brand. However, I was in desperate need of a new mascara and I had heard the rage about this one, so I thought I would give it a try.

This definitely isn’t the most expensive mascara and it cost me 23€ however I checked and if you were to buy it in England it's £19.00.

I really do like this product and I have used it most days but I do find that it slips off my bottom eyelashes and this leaves me with the dreaded black mark underneath my eye which is extremely hard to get off without any makeup remover. This put me off the product a little but at the moment I am putting soap and glory’s thick and fast mascara on my bottom lashes and it seems to be working well.

The shape of the brush is also amazing; it manages to cover every eyelash even with just one coat.

 I love the way it makes your lashes look, I have relatively long eyelashes anyway and this makes them look even fuller and thicker, I have received a lot of compliments since I have been wearing it and loads of people have asked what mascara I have been using.

I also love that when you apply it normally a new mascara comes out very thick and there’s a lot of the brush, I find this hard to apply so I normally let it dry out a bit before I can use it however with this one it comes out really nicely from the first application.

My lashes stay the same throughout the day and the mascara doesn’t seem to move, except the bottom lashes, but apart from that, it’s probably one of the longest lasting mascaras I have ever tried.

I was quite surprised when I picked up the tester actually because the packaging is rather heavy but it’s not like you shouldn’t buy it because of the packaging, it doesn’t weigh my bag down its that heavy.

Overall I would give this mascara a 7/10

Urban Decay Naked Illuminated - Shade Luminous

I bought this highlighter just over two weeks ago now from my local Urban Decay counter in Debenhams, which for those of you who don’t know is a British department store, I’m not too sure if they have any stores outside of the UK.

It was £22.50 so it’s not overly expensive however it defiantly not as cheap as some high street highlighters, and I certainly think it was worth the money.

I love this product a lot and I have used it almost every day without fail, it gives me a really nice glow that I haven’t found in any other highlight that I have purchased. However, I don’t think it’s for everyone, it’s more of a glittery shimmer which not everybody likes, although it is subtle so you could get away with it.

Another thing I love about this product is the pigmentation, it’s just the right amount so not too in your face but then it’s not dull so that you can’t see it.

You can also get away with using on your eyes in the tear duct area and on your brow bone to highlight as well as being able to use it on your body. I haven’t actually tired using it on my body but on some of the reviews I have read it works pretty much the same as it does on your face.

When I use it on my face it lasts for basically the whole day and usually tends to slide off with the rest of my make up, and likewise with many other products it does come off a lot faster if you touch your face a lot during the day, but you shouldn’t do this anyway as your hands are dirty and its bad for your skin!
         

The packaging is rather bulky, there’s not that much product for the amount of packaging that it comes with. There is also a second compartment that has a little brush in it, I personally don’t like to use this brush because I have a bigger one and I find it easier, but it is soft and good for if you are on the go, although I wouldn’t carry it round with me because the packaging would take up a lot of space

Overall I would give this product a 7/10
